offensive coordinator, to one of the most potent offensive seasons in history. Right away, McDaniels left an indelible mark on the franchise by trading away then franchise quarterback Jay Cutler for Kyle Orton. But the questionable moves did not end there. McDaniels traded away substantial draft picks for players that are no longer on the Broncos roster and began a feud with disenchanted Broncos receiver Brandon Marshall.In spite of all of these things, McDaniels still came out of the gate with guns blazing. The Broncos started the 2009 season 6-0 and it appeared that Broncos owner Pat Bowlen had struck gold with his young talent.However, the honeymoon did not last long. The Broncos struggled the rest of the season, finishing 8-8 and again missing the playoffs for the fourth straight season.In this past offseason, McDaniels made yet another questionable move, in moving up to draft highly touted college phenom Tim Tebow with a first round pick. Despite clamoring from the fans, McDaniels has limited Tebow's playing time. The struggles continued for McDaniels. Both the organization and McDaniels were fined $50,000 for the incident and the gray cloud over McD's head grew darker. As recent as last week, Pat Bowlen stated that he did not intend to make a coaching change and there was speculation that McD would survive the duration of his contract.After yet another division loss on 6 Sanchez White Jersey
Sunday, this time to the Chiefs, Bowlen changed courses and decided to pull the plug on McD.Broncos running backs coach Eric Studesville has been named interim head coach. Studesville was the running backs coach in Buffalo for six years before taking the job in Denver this season.More to come as this story develops.
